Made myself a coloring template for possible color schemes for the Cat Dancer sculpture. Not sure if this will actually be how I'd paint it, though...putting all the spots on was crazy! <XD But I do like the idea of the melanistic jaguar (panther with spots)...and I suspect painting a normal jaguar color scheme would actually be a lot tougher. Will probably include copies of the lineart with the unpainted sculptures, so prospective figure painters can try out color schemes of their own before diving into painting the actual figure.

Markers (ancient but still kicking), colored pencil, white pastel, acrylics. :3 I was actually kind of surprised the markers hadn't dried out, haven't touched those things in years.

You have a very lovely cat hear. My I ask permission to use the pose. If not I understand as an artist. :)

Oooooh, I love how you did the coloring here! :D The spots look so rich against her dark fur color, and how obvious they are varies nicely with the shadows and highlights. The patterns on her clothing complement her fur nicely, too. Likewise, the leafy patterns of the backdrop also add nicely to the pleasing textured theme of the piece. Awesome choices, through and through.

Thanks! I'm hoping this will work as a design on the actual sculpture, but for now it's just a test. Glad people are liking it so far though. :)
